LESSON 4 · Your Brain on Money
Rewrite Your Script
Changing a money script starts with naming it. Write down three beliefs you hold about money — "rich people are greedy," "I'll never be good with money," "you have to work yourself to death to be comfortable." Then ask: where did this come from? Is it actually true? Does it help me?
Rewriting doesn't mean flipping to the opposite extreme. A money avoider doesn't need to become obsessed with wealth. The goal is a balanced script: "Money is a tool. I can earn it ethically, manage it wisely, and enjoy it without guilt."
