Verbs That Prove Impact

Weak resumes describe responsibilities. Strong resumes prove impact, and the difference lives in your verbs.

Compare "Responsible for managing a team of 12" with "Built and led a 12-person team that shipped the company's fastest product launch."

Power verbs to steal: Built implies creation. Drove implies ownership. Transformed implies real change. Each one pushes the next clause toward a measurable result.

Ban these forever: "assisted," "helped," "participated in." They signal you were nearby, not that you made things happen.
