LESSON 2 · Ace Any Job Interview

The Layout Hierarchy

A clean, well-structured resume signals professionalism before a single word is read. Stick to one page under 10 years of experience, two pages maximum for senior roles. Anything longer suggests you cannot edit yourself.

The best order: contact info and LinkedIn URL first, then a 2-line summary, then work experience with quantified bullets, a skills section matching job keywords, and education last.

Use one font family, clear section headers, and enough white space that the eye can rest. A crowded resume feels desperate; a clean one feels confident.
