LESSON 3 · Network Without Being Awkward

Choose the Right Favor

The easiest favors to deliver fit into a five-minute block, but the right favor depends on the person's actual bottleneck. A founder may need an intro; a creator may need a testimonial; a job seeker may need a resume note.

Before helping, ask: what would remove friction for this person this week? That filter keeps the favor useful instead of performative. A network remembers relevance, not volume — one timely favor beats five random links.
