Handle Conflicts Early

Disagreements happen in every collaboration. Head them off by setting roles, deadlines, and credit before anyone is emotionally invested.

Use a simple one-page agreement: who does what, by when, and how you will settle disputes. This is not distrust — it is professionalism that protects the relationship when stress hits. The most common conflict is unequal effort, so give each person clear milestones to own. When every contribution is visible on a shared doc, accountability happens on its own.
