Swap the Apology for Gratitude

"Sorry for the late reply" → "Thanks for your patience." "Sorry for the long email" → "Thanks for bearing with me." "Sorry to bother you" → "Thanks for a minute of your time."

Every "sorry" you save for a real mistake makes your true apologies land harder. Every unnecessary one quietly teaches colleagues you feel like a burden.

Run the test now: search your Sent folder for "sorry." Half the hits should be gratitude. Most of the rest should be deleted.
