When the Mirror Bounces
Sometimes the reflection bounces: the person nods and changes nothing. That is data, not failure. A pattern may need more than one calm reflection before it lands. Your job is consistency over time, not forcing insight in one conversation. Repeat calmly.

Use the same clean observation each time: "I noticed the meeting ran long once budget came up." Consistency keeps the mirror steady and builds trust — your read stays clear regardless of mood, defensiveness, or immediate pushback.
