The Name Anchor

Use someone's name 3 times in conversation. It creates a personal connection and helps you remember them too — and crucially, it signals that the person in front of you registered as an individual, not a generic contact your brain quietly discards.

"Nice to meet you, Sarah." "Sarah, that's a great point." "Sarah, I'd love to continue this." Name repetition is surprisingly powerful when you attach names to follow-ups: that level of recall marks you as someone worth staying in touch with for years.
