Schedule Focus First

The order you plan in decides what survives. Block your most important work first, then fit meetings and admin around it. Do it the other way and focus only ever gets the scraps.

There's a simple reason this works: a vague to-do list says what you'll do, but a calendar block says when. A specific time and place turns "I should write the report" into a decision you've already made — so when the slot arrives, you start instead of negotiating with yourself.
