Design Your Zones

Your brain constantly reads environmental cues to decide what behavior fits. Research on habits shows that behaviors tied to a consistent context tend to be far more durable than ones that rely on willpower alone.

  • The focus zone — A desk or table used only for deep work. No eating, no casual browsing, no phone. Your brain learns: this space means focus.
  • The recharge zone — A specific chair or corner for rest and leisure. No work allowed here.
