The PARA Method

PARA is Forte's organizing framework. Every piece of digital information belongs in one of four categories:

• Projects: Active tasks with a deadline and clear outcome (e.g., "Launch website redesign")
• Areas: Ongoing responsibilities with no end date (e.g., "Health," "Finances")
• Resources: Topics of interest for future reference (e.g., "Marketing," "Recipes")
• Archives: Completed or inactive items from the other three categories

The beauty is that PARA works the same in every app. Your files, notes, cloud storage, and task manager all use the same four top-level folders.
