LESSON 1 · Goals That Actually Happen

SMART Goals Decoded

SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. It turns vague intentions into precise targets. "Get healthier" becomes "Run 3 times per week for 30 minutes each by June 30th." That specificity removes ambiguity and makes progress trackable.

  • Specific: What exactly will you accomplish?
  • Measurable: How will you know you succeeded?
  • Achievable: Is it realistic given your resources?
  • Relevant: Does it align with your priorities?
  • Time-bound: When is the deadline?
