The Hardest Decision

Every ambitious person faces the same question: keep going or cut your losses? Quit too early and you miss the breakthrough that was just around the corner. Quit too late and you waste months on something that was never going to work.

Society glorifies persistence. "Winners never quit" is terrible advice when applied to everything. Strategic quitting — knowing when to abandon a goal that no longer serves you — is not failure. It is resource reallocation.
