LESSON 1 · Manage Energy, Not Time

Light Is Your Controller

Light exposure is the single most powerful input for setting your circadian rhythm. Morning sunlight tells your brain to start the wake-up sequence, suppressing melatonin and releasing cortisol.

Get bright light within the first hour of waking, ideally natural sunlight for at least 10-15 minutes. In the evening, dim your screens and lights about two hours before bed to let melatonin rise on schedule.
