LESSON 1 · First Impressions That Last

Practice the Reset

You can rehearse your first impression without anyone knowing. Before walking into any room, do a quick body scan. Drop your shoulders, unclench your jaw, and take one slow breath through your nose.

This ritual takes three seconds and changes how you come across. Relaxed bodies signal confidence; tense bodies signal threat.

Try it before your next meeting. Stand outside the door, reset your posture, soften your face, and walk in as if you already belong. You are not faking anything — you are choosing which version of yourself shows up first.
