Make the Ask Concrete
Finding the conversion moment is only half the work. Once you sense it, give the other person a clear, easy yes.
Do not say "We should hang out sometime." Vague invitations leave all the planning to chance, so they rarely happen. Instead, name something real: "I am going to that workshop next Thursday — you should come."
A specific invitation with a time and a place is far easier to accept than an open-ended one. Give people a low-effort action they can say yes to, and they will.
