Audience-Centered Prep

Before any talk, answer three questions: Who is in the audience? What problem do they have? How does my talk solve it? That focus turns fear into usefulness.

The empathy draft makes the audience concrete. Before outlining, write what they hope to walk away with; reread it whenever fear pulls attention back to yourself.
