Consonant Crispness

Consonants are the skeleton of speech — they give words their shape. Plosive consonants (P, T, K, B, D, G) need a clean build-up of air pressure followed by a sharp release. Practicing them in isolation trains the muscles responsible for clarity.

Fricative consonants (F, V, S, Z, TH) require sustained airflow through a narrow channel. A common articulation issue is clipping them too quickly. Hold each fricative for a full two seconds to train your mouth to sustain the position.
