Dropped Word Endings
The most common diction problem is dropped word endings. "Going" becomes "goin." "Want to" becomes "wanna." "Did you" becomes "didja." These casual contractions are fine among friends but erode authority in professional settings.

Practice reading aloud and deliberately landing every final consonant. Pay special attention to words ending in T, D, and NG. Recording yourself and counting dropped endings is a useful awareness exercise because missed endings are easier to hear from the outside.
