Your Diction Sharpening System
Build commanding diction with these daily practices:
- Word-ending audit: record yourself speaking for one minute and count every dropped ending
- Consonant clusters: practice tough combinations like "strengths," "sixths," and "manuscripts"
- Tongue twisters: run lines like "red leather, yellow leather" to force your tongue and lips to fully form each sound
- News anchor reading: read a news article aloud as if presenting it on television, clarity over speed
- Whisper test: whisper a paragraph -- if the words stay intelligible, your articulation is strong
