The Pace Precision Drill

Crisp diction is not just about individual sounds -- it is about the space between words. When you rush, words collide and turn unintelligible. Micro-pauses between phrases let each word land with impact.

Try this: read a sentence at your normal pace, then read it again at half speed, pausing briefly after every comma and period. Record both and compare. The slower version sounds far more professional.

The goal is not to speak slowly all the time. It is to control your pace on purpose -- fast for excitement, slow for emphasis, pauses for impact.
