Five Hook Types
Strong hooks include a startling stat, a provocative question, or a mini-story. Each gives the audience a reason to lean in before the main point arrives.

The bold claim: "Public speaking is the most overrated skill in business." The vivid image: "Most managers run hard conversations like a surgeon who's never picked up a scalpel." Each type sparks a different flavor of curiosity — pick the one that fits your point.
