LESSON 1 · Build Any Speech
Land It Right
A brilliant hook still flops if you mumble it. The words buy attention; the delivery cashes it in.
- Open cold. Skip "um, so, hi everyone" — your first word should be the hook itself.
- Pause after it. Silence tells the room something just landed and they should be listening.
- Hold their eyes. Looking up, not at your notes, signals you mean it.
Say your opening line out loud until it feels easy, not memorized. Win the first moment with confidence, and the rest of the talk rides that momentum.
