Reframing the Problem
Most people approach conflict as zero-sum: for me to win, you must lose. The best resolvers know that reframing the problem reveals solutions neither side considered.

Reframing starts with "what are we really trying to achieve?" instead of defending positions. When two departments fight over budget, the real question might be "how do we grow so both can thrive?" The shift moves the conversation from splitting what exists to building something bigger.
