Make It Stick

Knowing the swaps is easy; catching yourself in the moment is the hard part. The old phrases are automatic, so you will reach for them under pressure long after you can explain why they are weak.

Pick one weak phrase to retire this week, not all of them at once. Notice each time it slips out, pause, and reach for the stronger version instead. Once that swap feels natural, add the next. Small, deliberate reps beat trying to fix everything at once.
