LESSON 3 · The Feedback Loop

Make It Routine

The fastest way to normalize feedback is to attach it to things you already do:

  • End each meeting with a 2-minute round: What worked? What would you change?
  • Start one-on-ones by asking, What feedback do you have for me?
  • Swap hour-long postmortems for 15-minute micro-retrospectives
  • Keep one channel where small wins and small fixes live side by side

When feedback has a set time and place, it stops feeling like an ambush and starts feeling expected.
