Remove the Stigma

Language shapes how feedback feels. Drop the phrase "constructive criticism" — the word criticism carries built-in negativity, and people get defensive before you finish the sentence. Try "growth feedback" or just "input" instead.

Track the culture with a simple quarterly pulse. Ask your team one question: on a 1-to-10 scale, how comfortable do you feel giving honest feedback? A score below 7 suggests barriers may still be in the way. The trend matters most.
