Four Opening Styles

Choose the opening style that matches your content and audience:

  • The question: "What would you do with an extra 10 hours per week?" — invites participation
  • The claim: "Most strategies fail in execution, not in planning" — creates tension
  • The story: "Last Thursday at 2 AM, our server room caught fire" — triggers narrative engagement
  • The contradiction: "Everything you learned about productivity is wrong" — challenges belief

Each style does the same job: it breaks the audience's habit of passive waiting and forces active attention from second one.
