Why Most Meetings Fail You
You sit through a one-hour meeting in English, understand most of it, and say almost nothing. Sound familiar? The problem is not your vocabulary. It is timing.

Meetings in English follow an unspoken hierarchy. The person who speaks first often helps frame the outcome. The person who summarizes at the end can get credit for clarifying the decision. Much of what happens in between is negotiation. Once you see this pattern, you can stop being a passenger and start being a player.
