Your Meeting Takeover Checklist

Use this before your next English-language meeting:

  • Prepare two talking points in advance so you are less likely to sit in silence
  • Speak in the first two minutes, even if it is just a question
  • Use bridging phrases to enter conversations smoothly
  • Summarize decisions before the meeting ends to make your contribution visible
  • Follow up in writing within one hour to reinforce your visibility
