LESSON 1 · Business English Toolkit
Your Meeting Takeover Checklist
Use this before your next English-language meeting:
- Prepare two talking points in advance so you are less likely to sit in silence
- Speak in the first two minutes, even if it is just a question
- Use bridging phrases to enter conversations smoothly
- Summarize decisions before the meeting ends to make your contribution visible
- Follow up in writing within one hour to reinforce your visibility
Meetings are not tests of your English. They are performances. Prepare like a performer and you will be easier to hear in the room.
