Your First Impression Blueprint
Prepare these elements before any important English-language introduction:
- Practice your introduction until it sounds natural, not rehearsed
- Prepare one interesting opening question that goes beyond "What do you do?"
- Check your energy level — aim for relaxed and engaged, never flat
- Make eye contact within the first second of meeting someone
- Use the other person's name at least once in the first minute
