Handling Problems Without Drama
When a hotel problem appears, use a simple formula: state the problem, then ask for a solution. Describe the cold shower, loud room, or smoke smell without blame or threats.

If the problem is not resolved, escalate calmly: "I appreciate your help, but I'm still having the issue. Could I speak with a manager?" This is assertive without being aggressive. Hotels train staff to resolve complaints quickly, because a bad review can cost them more than a fresh towel or a moved room.
