Clearing Mental Clutter
The biggest obstacle to clear speaking is a cluttered mind. When you are thinking about five things while trying to say one, all five compete for neural resources. Your sentences become tangled because your brain is sending conflicting signals to your speech production system.

The fix is single-pointing — directing all your attention to one thought at a time. Before each sentence, know what you want to say. Pause between thoughts to let the next one form.
