LESSON 1 · Deeper, Richer, Magnetic

Projection is not about volume. It is about resonance efficiency:

  • Low resonance sensation — a lower, warmer sound may create vibration you feel near the sternum, even though the main sound shaping happens in the vocal tract
  • Forward resonance sensation — the area around your nose and cheekbones can buzz when sound is focused forward, helping speech feel bright and carrying
  • Oral resonance — your mouth shapes the vowels and consonants that give speech its clarity

The twist: a relaxed voice at moderate volume can carry surprisingly well, while a strained shout often cannot. Tension limits the easy vibration and clarity that help sound travel.
