Speaking Naturally with Amplification

The greatest challenge of microphone use is speaking naturally. Many people instinctively raise their voice when addressing a large audience, even with a microphone providing all the amplification needed.

Trust the technology. Speak at a conversational volume and let the sound system do its job. If you cannot hear yourself in the monitors, ask for more monitor volume rather than speaking louder.
