Feel, Then Verify

The goal is not to become a robot. Your emotions carry real moral information. The goal is to put them in order:

  • Feel first, then check — let the feeling flag it, then look at the facts
  • Ask: "If I felt nothing, would this still hold up?"
  • Get suspicious when someone is clearly manufacturing urgency
  • Notice when a claim leans on emotional words and nothing else

The best calls happen when feeling and evidence work together. The worst happen when feeling shows up alone and evidence never gets a seat at the table.
