The Original Logic Machine

Aristotle invented the syllogism around 350 BCE, and it still powers every courtroom argument, scientific hypothesis, and philosophical debate today.

Here is the most famous example: All humans are mortal. Socrates is a human. Therefore, Socrates is mortal. The beauty of this structure is its inevitability. If you accept the first two lines, you must accept the third. That is not persuasion — it is logical necessity.
