Logic's Sharpest Distinction
An argument can be perfectly valid and completely wrong. Validity means the conclusion follows from the premises. Truth means the premises match reality. Those are two different things.

Why does this matter? Because people mix up good logic with good conclusions all the time. A neatly built argument resting on false premises just gives you a tidy wrong answer. And a true conclusion can be reached through awful reasoning, by pure luck.
