Think Like a Scientist
You do not need a lab coat to think like a scientist. The scientific method is simply: observe, hypothesize, test, and update. You use it every day without realizing it. "This route seems faster" (hypothesis). You try it for a week (test).

The difference between a scientist and a non-scientist is not intelligence. It is willingness to be wrong. Scientists design experiments that could disprove their own ideas. Non-scientists look for evidence that confirms what they already believe.
