Start applying the scientific method today:

  • Turn beliefs into testable hypotheses — "I think X causes Y" becomes an experiment you can run
  • Seek disconfirmation — look for evidence against your belief, not just for it
  • Change one variable at a time — change diet, exercise, and sleep at once and you learn nothing
  • Track results — memory is unreliable; write down actual measurements
  • Accept negative results — a disproven hypothesis is not a failure, it is information
