Anatol Rapoport's rules for fair criticism
Daniel Dennett restated game theorist Anatol Rapoport's rules in his 2013 book Intuition Pumps and Other Tools for Thinking. The first rule: **re-express your target's position so clearly and fairly that they say 'I wish I'd thought of putting it that way.'** Only then have you earned the right to critique.
