Match Method To Stakes
For small, reversible calls, speed wins. One person decides and the group moves on.
For big, hard-to-reverse calls, build in friction on purpose:
- Assign someone to argue the other side
- Ask for written positions before the meeting
- Vote privately so no one is swayed by the room
The worst habit is running full consensus on every tiny choice. It drains everyone's patience, so there is nothing left when a genuinely important decision shows up.
