Preventing Groupthink
Build disagreement into the process: assign a devil's advocate, let leaders speak last, and bring in outside input before harmony turns into silent compliance.

The goal is not to create conflict but to ensure that genuine disagreement surfaces before a decision is made rather than after it has already failed. Many catastrophic group decisions had someone who saw the problem early; the process simply made it too costly or too awkward to say so.
