Beyond Meditation

Formal meditation is the training ground, but mindfulness fits into any moment. Informal mindfulness means bringing full attention to things you usually do on autopilot.

Mindful eating: Actually taste your food. Notice texture, temperature, flavor.

Mindful walking: Feel your feet hit the ground. A five-minute mindful walk between tasks resets focus better than scrolling your phone.

Mindful listening: Listen without planning your reply. You catch tone and emotion you normally miss while rehearsing what to say.
