Confidence Through Action

The biggest myth about confidence is that you have to feel it before you act. Reality reverses this: action produces confidence, not the other way around.

This is the confidence-action loop. Take action, gather evidence, feel a bit more confident, take a slightly bigger action. Each cycle builds on the last — slow at first, but it speeds up with repetition.

Waiting to feel confident before acting is a trap. Every confident person you admire started by doing things they were not confident about.

Start where the stakes are genuinely low. Ask a question. Introduce yourself. Submit work that is good enough rather than perfect. Each small act deposits evidence.
