LESSON 1 · Burnout: Recognize, Recover, Prevent
The Warning Signs
Burnout develops gradually. By the time you notice it, you have been burning out for months. Catching the early signs lets you step in.
Sleep changes. Exhausted but unable to fall asleep, or sleeping 10 hours and waking unrested.
Emotional flatness. Good news does not lift you. Bad news does not faze you.
Cognitive fog. Concentration fails, and you read the same paragraph three times.
Physical symptoms. Headaches, digestive issues, and getting sick more often.
Withdrawal. You cancel plans — not because you enjoy solitude, but because contact feels like one more demand.
