LESSON 2 · Boundaries That Protect Love

Know Your Collapse Triggers

Most people don't break a boundary on purpose — they fold in a specific moment. So find your weak points before they find you. Do you cave when someone cries? When they go silent? When they bring up everything you owe them?

Knowing your collapse triggers lets you plan a response in advance instead of improvising under pressure. Decide now what you'll say when the tears start, and you won't have to invent it in the heat of the moment. Adjusting a boundary later is fine — as long as it's a calm, deliberate decision, not a collapse.
