LESSON 3 · Small Gestures, Deep Bonds

Prevention is Better Than Repair

Most relationship damage happens not from a single catastrophic event but from small issues ignored week after week. A minor annoyance becomes a festering resentment. An unmet need becomes a silent wall.

The weekly check-in gives both partners a dedicated space to be heard before frustrations accumulate. Knowing you have a guaranteed time to raise concerns reduces daily tension. "I'll bring this up at our check-in" replaces "I need to fight about this right now." Prevention beats repair.
