Why Comparison Is Rigged
Your brain is wired to compare through a system called social comparison theory. It was useful when humans lived in small tribes and needed to assess standing.

The irony: parents you compare yourself to are comparing themselves to someone else. The mom with perfect lunch boxes feels guilty about screen time. The dad who coaches soccer feels inadequate about cooking. Everyone is looking at someone else's strengths.
