LESSON 3 · Calm Home, Happy Family
Designing Family Rhythm
Build your daily rhythm on a few principles. Map your child's natural energy — when are they most cooperative? Most cranky? Plan accordingly. Anchor the day with three fixed points: wake-up, nap or quiet time, and bedtime. Let everything else flow between those anchors without rigid times, and build a transition ritual for the hardest switches in your day. A rhythm is not a cage. It is a river — flowing, flexible, but always moving in a predictable direction that gives your child the safety of knowing what comes next.
